Silica opening agent is a kind of synthetic amorphous silica. It is an efficient anti adhesion agent, anticoagulant and opening agent. It is used as an efficient opening agent for polyolefin film and polyethylene film.

The definition of agglomeration is that the two thin films adhere to each other, and the films that are bonded together are difficult to process. It is also difficult to separate when used. Anti caking agent is a material that can combine with thin film to reduce adhesion.

The theory of anti caking is to reduce agglomeration by porous material (synthetic silica). The tendency of low molecular adhesion and reduction of caking.

The opening agent is always a trade-off: the large particle size will be more efficient, but the unit particle is less, and the large particle size will cause low optical property.

Synthetic silica powder is compared with natural anti caking agent: synthetic silica is more efficient, synthetic silica has better optical degree, synthetic silica is non crystalline, synthetic silica can be used directly in food through FDA approval, and synthetic silica meets European standard. Synthetic silica is a more effective opening agent, higher packing density, lower opening auxiliary demand equal to lower cost, easier dispersion, easier operation (lower dust), and better masterbatch processing.
